SUTTON

The village and surrounding region offers a country lifestyle that is only minutes from the National Capital and is easily accessed from the Federal Highway, approximately 8 kilometres on the Sydney side of the NSW and ACT border making it an easy 15 minute drive to the centre of Canberra.

The village has a local primary school and a school bus runs to most high schools in the ACT.  There is also a local rural supplier and a local shop, tennis court, community shed, playing fields and the local Sutton Pony Club.

The region has a long and diverse rural history. Traditionally, horses, cattle or sheep could be found on most properties. More recently, alpaca and deer farms have been established in the area and the region is home to a number of wineries and olive groves which illustrate the region’s farming diversity.
